Your application and the recruitment process
Before you apply
Any successful job search begins with an understanding of where you are in your own personal career path and the type of job you want. We would therefore strongly advise you to collect as much information as possible before starting the actual application process, both about yourself and about the job in question. Ask yourself questions like:
- What do I want to do?
- What are my competences and qualifications?
- What jobs am I interested in and what is the content of the job?
This site is, among other things, designed with the purpose of answering the last of these questions in many of its dimensions. If you do not find the answers here please give us a call.
Requirements for your application
As a minimum we expect a CV and an application. Your CV should hold factual information about your education, career and relevant experience. Information about where you worked, when and the tasks you performed. Your application, on the other hand, could include other personal qualifications (always works better using examples), and your motivation for applying for a certain job.
Remember always to state which job you are applying for and where you can be reached (phone, address and e-mail).
Unsolicited applications
You are always welcome to send us an unsolicited application in the case that none of the listed jobs are relevant for your experience and goals. However please follow the same guidelines as a solicited application and state what kind of position you might be interested in and why. Please do not just send us your CV without a description of the type of position that would interest you. Otherwise it will make it difficult for us to match your qualifications and goals with the appropriate department and/or position.
The Recruitment Process
Once we have received your application, our HR department will review it and typically forward it to the relevant department. You will always receive a notification acknowledging the reception of your application. In the case we see a potential fit between your professional profile and our needs, we will contact you to arrange for a personal interview.
If we are unable to find a match within our organisation for your specific profile, we will send you a notification of this decision by mail. Please allow up to 3-4 weeks to receive a response.
A personal interview has 2 purposes, to share information and to evaluate. Remember that it is both you and us that need to find out if we can find each other and match our needs both professionally and personally. To assist in this process our HR department will often participate in either the first or a second interview. You might be asked to fill out a personal profile. This is a tool used to get insight into your personality and assist us (and you) in finding out if your profile fits the job in question.
